What Is Mr. and Mrs. Smith All About?
The new series is based on the original movie where we all fell in love with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s chemistry. The main characters are played by Donald Glover and Maya Erskine. Other actors starring in the series are Sarah Paulson, Ron Perlman, and Alexander Skarsgard. Phoebe Waller-Bridge was supposed to play the part of Mrs. Smith but exited due to “creative differences with Glover.”
The original Mr. and Mrs. Smith had success in Hollywood when it was released back in 2005, and Pitt divorced Friends star Jennifer Aniston after falling in love with Jolie on set. In the original movie, Brad and Angelina play a standard husband and wife who both appear to be assassins in competing agencies.
